In the last session of Literary Cafés before the summer break, literary critic Jorge Carrión will talk to journalist and writer Marta Peirano about her new book: Contra el futuro. Resistencia ciudadana frente al feudalismo climático. In this book, Peirano offers different strategies for citizen action to confront climate change and the harmful effects of capitalism. During the meeting, the conversation will explore the author's recipes for building a hopeful future collectively.

Marta Peirano is a journalist. She founded the Culture sections of ADN and, where she has been head of Culture and Technology and assistant to the editor. She was co-director of Copyfight and co-founder of Hack Hackers Berlin and Cryptoparty Berlin. She is the author of the bestseller El enemigo conoce el sistema (Debate, 2019).
