Electric vehicles are the focus of the global automotive sector, but more importantly, they are the European automotive sector's main commitment to achieving the objectives of the European Commission's European Green Deal. This is not just a matter of complying with regulations, but rather satisfying an informed demand and providing environmentally sustainable mobility. However, the debate is far more than just technological and there are other issues such as autonomy and refuelling, industrial capacity or the new infrastructures needed. This panel discussion will identify the main challenges and opportunities facing the future of the electric car and its impact on the Barcelona automotive cluster.
