Creating film characters

CASA SEAT presents for the first time in Spain an exhibition of Grangel Studio, a legendary Barcelona-based character design studio that has taken its art from Barcelona to Hollywood.

From July 9 to September 4

40th anniversary of Grangel Studio

The exhibition brings together more than a hundred original pieces, sketches, and never-before-seen illustrations from films such as Pinocho by Guillermo del Toro, La Novia Cadáver, Madagascar, Cómo entrenar a tu dragón, Kung Fu Panda, and Hotel Transilvania. It will also feature the designs of his latest creation: CAT, the FC Barcelona mascot.

Carlos Grangel and Jordi Grangel

Founded by brothers Carlos and Jordi Grangel, their talent has reached every corner of the world, collaborating with giants such as Tim Burton, Guillermo del Toro, DreamWorks, Sony Pictures, and Netflix, and contributing to more than 30 international productions.

Guided tours of the exhibition

Step into the creative universe of Grangel Studio: CASA SEAT is offering guided tours of the exhibition Creating film characters  to give visitors an up-close look at how iconic animated film characters are brought to life.
