Marta Vidal, President of the D.O. Cava, will be the guest speaker at October’s El Periódico Afterwork.

Since June 2026, Marta Vidal has been the first woman to head the Regulatory Council of the Cava Designation of Origin. Elected by an absolute majority for a four-year term, she assumes the presidency with the goal of enhancing the prestige and visibility of Cava in both national and international markets. Key priorities of her mandate include highlighting the value of vineyards, driving quality and sustainability, boosting competitiveness, and strengthening collaboration between winegrowers and producers.
