Sandra Bestraten, elected dean of the Col·legi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC) until 2030, will be the guest of the next Afterwork El Periódico.

Bestraten will visit our auditorium one week after taking up her new role to speak with Gemma Martínez, editor of El Periódico, about the challenges facing the sector and the priorities of her term.

During the conversation, Bestraten will also reflect on the results of Barcelona's first months as World Capital of Architecture and share expectations around the UIA World Congress of Architecture 2026, taking place in the city from 28 June to 2 July.
