Attend the presentation with Brazilian photographer Lalo de Almeida of his project "Amazonian Dystopia", winner of the World Press Photo Award for Long-Term Project 2022.

This work, which the author has been developing since 2013, portrays the process of destruction of the Brazilian Amazon, coinciding with the regressive environmental policies of the government of Jair Bolsonaro.

The Amazon rainforest lives under great threat, as deforestation, mining, infrastructure development and the depletion of natural resources have accelerated and its overexploitation has reached its fastest rate in a decade.

The exhibition World Press Photo Barcelona 2022 is organised by Photographic Social Vision and co-produced by CCCB, with the main collaboration of the Fundación Banc Sabadell.
