The Barcelona International Film Festival - Sant Jordi (BCN Film Fest), which will take place this year from April 20 to 28, will celebrate the sixth edition of its Screenwriters and Industry Day at CASA SEAT. Once again this year you can enjoy this activity as its own space and meeting point between leading professionals from the film and television industry and the public.

In this colloquium, prominent sound engineers will discuss their work and the narrative function of sound in conversation with two film directors for whom sound plays a fundamental role in their films. We will count with the participation of:

- Juanjo Giménez, director of Tres and the short film Timecode. Nominated for the Oscar for Best Fiction Short Film and the Goya for Best Original Screenplay.
- Mikel Gurrea, director of Suro. Nominated for a Goya for Best New Director.
- Marc Orts, sound designer of films such as Un monstruo viene a verme, Tres and Dolor y Gloria. Winner of six Goyas for Best Sound.

Moderator: Pau Subirós, producer, screenwriter and sound designer of films such as El viaje de Marta and La plaga.
