The story of a festival that has made Barcelona a global benchmark for music documentaries

Barcelona is a city with a long musical tradition and a cultural scene that has, throughout its history, produced projects with international reach. One of the most distinctive cases is In-Edit, the music documentary festival born in Barcelona, which has built a pioneering proposal on an international scale: a meeting point for music, film and culture with few equivalents in the world.

This will be the common thread of the next Moments Estel·lars session, the series organized by The New Barcelona Post, with the special collaboration of In-Edit. It will bring together Uri Altell, owner and managing director of the festival; Astrid Rousse, director of In-Edit; Toni Querol, artistic director of the festival; and a renowned musician or filmmaker whose name has yet to be revealed.

The conversation will be led by journalist Toni Aira and will look back over the history of In-Edit, from its beginnings in Barcelona to its current scale, while also exploring the relationship between music, film and culture.
