Breaking Bach is a surprising concert proposal where the aesthetic challenge of breaking with tradition is raised by drawing on such eclectic influences as electronic music, hip hop, Carles Santos, Paco de Lucía, Joan Magrané, Franz Liszt and, as a guiding thread, Johann Sebastian Bach. Carles Marigó approaches the interpretation of J. S. Bach's music in a particular and unique way: based on his research as an artist and performer, it consists of treating classical music as a living being, in constant adaptation, expansion and balance with the enviroment.
