We begin the 2024 music programme with a celebration and tribute to the legendary album La Fusa, which Vinicius de Moraes, Maria Creuza and Toquinho recorded in Argentina in 1970. In this concert, Carme Canela and Jurandir Dã Silva will offer us a new look at an album that exported Brazilian music and popularised it all over the world. With arrangements open to Brazilian folklore, the sound environment of the traditional samba de rueda and the influence of jazz, the two musicians will reinterpret such well-known melodies as "Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar" and "Garota de Ipanema" in a proposal that seeks to surprise and respect the original work.
