Wood and wheels: the history of skateboarding
From January 13
to March 16
Sören Manzoni, founder of the first skateboarding museum in Spain and one of the biggest skateboard collectors in Europe, joins forces with CASA SEAT to bring us "Wood and wheels: the history of skateboarding"
In this look back over the history of skateboarding, from the 1940s to present day, visitors will get to see and enjoy unique pieces and themed, interactive stations with, among other curiosities, the skateboard used to film Back to the Future, the one Tony Hawk left on his latest trip to Barcelona and the board and uniform Danny León wore at the Tokyo 2020 games. Plus, a Freak Section and boombox photocall.
This exhibition is for everyone: skateboard lovers, fans of the 80s and 90s, or any family looking to learn a bit more about their kids’ new hobby.
It is open to the public during the CASA SEAT opening hours and will also feature a programme of parallel activities related to urban culture.
Music, fashion, art, sport and much more await you at CASA SEAT!
