Laure Cholé live in concert: Paisatges de França i Espanya
April 29
12:30 pm
Paris was the city many Spanish composers chose for their education and to create their work in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Two of them, Catalan composers Enric Granados and Frederic Mompou, set off for the French capital in search of the unique musical environment on the other side of the Pyrenees. At the same time, their French contemporaries sought inspiration for their creations in national folklore.
French pianist Laure Cholé will take us on a musical journey through Spain and France based on impressions of travel and landscapes in a play of mirrors between Granados and Mompou and French composer Claude Debussy, who was such a big influence on both of them.
For this event, we’re offering the chance to get a TOP Experience, which in addition to two of the best seats in the auditorium includes a culinary experience at our restaurant just after the concert, for €42 for two people.
This concert is organised in collaboration with Joventuts Musicals de Barcelona and Joventuts Musicals de Catalunya.
