Las voces de Adriana (Random House, 2023) is the latest novel from Elvira Navarro. The author will be in the CASA SEAT auditorium just a few days after launching her latest work to chat with writer and literary critic Jorge Carrión in the latest session of the Literary Cafés. Memories, mourning and our ancestors’ influence over our lives are topics woven through her story and will be the common threads in the chat between the two authors.

Books by Elvira Navarro: La ciudad en invierno (The City in Winter - CdT, 2007), The Happy City (HB, 2013), Los últimos días de Adelaida García Morales (The Last Days of Adelaida Garcíá Morales - RH, 2016) and a book of short stories Rabbit Island (Two Lines Press, 2021). With A Working Woman (Two Lines Press, 2017), a ground-breaking novel following the breakdown of the main character due to social and economic changes caused by the crisis, she became a benchmark voice in contemporary Spanish literature. Her work has been translated into English, French, Swedish, Italian, Japanese, Serbian, Korean and Turkish.
