Flutist Sofía Salazar and pianist Luis Arias will offer at CASA SEAT's auditorium a sensory journey through some of the most evocative soundscapes of Spain. The tour will start with Siete canciones populares españolas, by Manuel de Falla, and Recuerdos de Andalucía, by Eduardo de Ocón, a composition with suggestive brushstrokes and traces of Andalusian folklore under the sieve of French impressionism. The program will also include Dedicatoria, by Federico Moreno Torroba, as well as Sonata Española Op. 82 and one of Joaquín Turina's Danzas fantásticas. In addition, Aires Gitanos, by Pablo Sarasate, will take us into the bohemian folklore thanks to its virtuosic and rhapsodic score.
