blanca arias is committed to love and criticism. Born in Barcelona in 1998, she is a Scorpio and feels a special emotional responsibility to build creative networks for worlds that can be experienced more fully by all bodies and to sustain them materially.

As part of the 2021 LOOP Festival Barcelona, this multidisciplinary artist will present “Hay una mujer que vive en una habitación”, a performance conference that explores some of the infinite landscapes of intimacy generated between the online and offline body. A proposal that yearns to draw a cartography of textural and visual images through a lesbian-feminist gaze that, beyond taking us into the artist’s cosmos, invites to think about issues like the physicality of the digital, new emotional horizons and the possible links between interconnectivity and interdependence.
